Job summary

Solventum, a leading healthcare technology company, is seeking an SEO Specialist to join our global team. You will drive organic visibility, develop GEO strategies for AI-powered search, and collaborate with marketing, product, and web stakeholders to translate insights into results.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in SEO/digital marketing, and hands-on experience with AEM, DAM, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and related tools. Domestic travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Seven (7) years of hands‑on SEO/digital marketing/website optimization/content strategy experience in various environments.
  • Three years of experience with core SEO disciplines: keyword strategy, on-page optimization, metadata development, technical SEO fundamentals, content performance analysis, and internal linking.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategies to improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic across the Health Information Systems business globally.
  • Identifying and applying GEO best practices to improve discoverability in AI-powered search and conversational discovery experiences.
  • Conducting keyword, content and competitive research to uncover opportunities and inform optimization priorities.
  • Partnering with marketing, product, and web stakeholders to translate search insights into actionable recommendations and measurable outcomes.
  • Leading the digital asset upload and metadata management to improve asset quality and downstream SEO performance.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Search Engine Optimization**(**SEO) Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Developing and executing strategies that improve organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and support business growth across the Health Information Systems business globally.
  • Identifying and applying Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices to improve discoverability in AI-powered search, answer engines, and conversational discovery experiences.
  • Conducting keyword, content, and competitive research to uncover opportunities, inform optimization priorities, and strengthen digital performance across priority solution areas.
  • Partnering with integrated marketing, product marketing, marketing communications, and web stakeholders to translate search insights into actionable recommendations, content enhancements, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Leading the digital asset upload and metadata management process within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to improve asset quality, governance, discoverability, and downstream SEO performance across the web ecosystem.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent practical experience from a private, public, government, or military environment

AND

Seven (7) years of hands‑on experience in SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, content strategy, or a related field in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • (3) three years of experience with core SEO disciplines, including keyword strategy, on-page optimization, metadata development, technical SEO fundamentals, content performance analysis, and internal linking.
  • Experience with GEO or optimizing content for AI-driven search, answer engines, and emerging discovery experiences.
  • Experience with platforms and tools such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), DAM platforms, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Answer the Public, or Screaming Frog.
  • Experience working within content management systems and/or digital asset management systems, with strong attention to detail and process consistency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting digital marketing programs within a global organization and collaborating across multiple regions, teams, and stakeholder groups.
  • Healthcare technology, B2B, or other regulated industry experience.
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills, a high level of curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of quality and follow-through.

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on‑site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
