Job description

Description

We're looking for an exceptional technologist who sees SEO as a discipline ripe for complete transformation through AI agents and automation. You'll be building systems that do the work for you, not just optimizing manually, but creating autonomous workflows that handle everything from technical audits to content optimization to competitive analysis.

The thesis is simple: search engines are evolving rapidly with AI, and traditional SEO approaches are becoming obsolete. We need someone who’s already thinking three steps ahead, who understands that the future of this role is designing and orchestrating AI agents (particularly Claude and similar systems) that execute SEO strategies autonomously. You'll literally be working yourself out of the manual parts of this job by building agentic systems that scale beyond what any human team could accomplish.

Details

Department: Sales and Marketing

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Key Responsibilities

Your primary mandate is to build AI‑powered systems that transform how we approach search visibility. This means designing multi‑agent workflows where Claude and other AI tools handle technical audits, content analysis, keyword research, competitor tracking, and optimization recommendations autonomously. You'll create systems that monitor, analyze, and even implement SEO improvements with minimal human intervention.

You'll stay obsessively current with AI developments—testing new tools within days of launch, understanding how LLMs are changing search behavior, and experimenting with emerging AI search platforms (SearchGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE). You'll architect the infrastructure for AI‑native SEO, where agents continuously optimize our digital presence while you focus on strategy and innovation.

Beyond automation, you'll collaborate with engineering on site architecture, implement sophisticated tracking systems, and ensure we're positioned for whatever comes next in search—whether that's traditional crawlers or AI answer engines. You'll also lead demand generation initiatives with the same technology‑forward, automation‑first mindset.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • AI‑native mindset: You're already building agentic workflows in your current role. You understand how to chain together AI agents, APIs, and automation tools to create self‑running systems.
  • Technical depth: Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and how modern web infrastructure actually works.
  • Obsessive learning: You follow AI developments closely, experiment constantly, and have strong opinions about where marketing technology is heading.
  • SEO expertise: 5+ years with proven results, but more importantly, you understand that traditional SEO is dead and you're building what comes next.
  • Builder mentality: You see repetitive work as a problem to solve through automation, not a task to delegate.
  • Python/SQL proficiency: You can script solutions, query databases, and build custom tools when existing ones don’t cut it.
  • Experience with Claude, GPT‑5.3, and other LLMs for complex agentic workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with marketing automation platforms, but frustrated by their limitations—you build beyond them.
  • Track record of technical SEO wins, but more importantly, track record of using technology to 10x your impact.
