Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $52,600.00/yr

Our Consulting client is seeking an entry-level freelance SEO Analyst Associate. This is a 40 hr/week freelance opportunity with the goal of converting to a full-time employee after 6 months. This SEO Analyst Associate will support the marketing team in analyzing market trends, evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and marketing knowledge to help optimize marketing efforts and contribute to overall business growth.

This is an entry level role, fully remote, and equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to support blog and website content development.
• Assist in brainstorming SEO blog topics and building content calendars.
• Post content to client websites using CMS platforms, ensuring SEO best practices.
• Manage and update local listings via Yext to support local SEO efforts.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and SEO tools.
• Create SEO performance scorecards and visual dashboards to track KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across client accounts.
• Provide insights to support ongoing optimization and strategy refinement.
• Attend client meetings with other marketing team members, taking detailed notes and tracking action items.
• Follow up with clients via email for minor requests or clarifications.
• Help maintain project timelines and ensure task completion across multiple accounts.
• Support internal documentation, coordination, and project planning.
• Stay current on SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates.
• Contribute ideas during team brainstorms and cross-functional collaborations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a SEO focused Marketing role at an agency (Required).
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), and CMS platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with social media marketing and content creation.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
