ABOUT THE POSITION

With over 430 retail stores worldwide, our associates are essential to our business. As a Retail Associate, you will represent our Company, Brands, and products to our consumers. You will serve customers, share product information, and help them find products that meet their needs. Retail Associates support product flow into the store and onto the sales floor to ensure accessibility and representation. You will contribute to store profitability through accurate and efficient processes and support the Store Leadership team in our mission.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and safety standards; restock merchandise from stock rooms and inventory locations.
• Perform cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges) accurately; connect consumers to loyalty programs.
• Support store profitability by accurately processing incoming and outgoing products.
• Respond to customer questions regarding product features, benefits, and availability; ask questions to understand their needs and assist with buying decisions. Uphold Columbia's values to enhance customer experience and teamwork.
• Acquire knowledge about products, policies, procedures, and programs to execute daily operations effectively.

YOU HAVE

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
• Up to 2 years of experience in a relevant role or specialization
• Experience interacting with and serving customers
• Skill operating Inventory and POS systems and other retail software tools
• Must be 16 years or older

JOB CONDITIONS

• Active environment; may involve physical activity and handling items weighing up to 40 lbs.; exposure to dust and noise
• Occasional work in varied environments
• Clear communication skills
• Flexible schedule availability, adapting seasonally and to business needs, adhering to all laws
