The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is seeking a Seamstress to join our pre-opening team. In this role you will alter and repair garments, linens, and uniforms to ensure the highest standards of fit and quality, supporting a luxury hospitality environment.

You will maintain sewing equipment, keep the workspace organized, and monitor item conditions. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as Hilton prepares to redefine meetings and events in downtown

• Maintain sewing equipment and report defects to the Linen Room Supervisor.
• Keep the uniform and linen room clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Identify uniforms or linens that need to be discarded or replaced.

The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is a highly anticipated newly built hotel set to redefine meetings, events, and luxury hospitality in the heart of the city. Featuring 800 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of onsite meeting space, the hotel will serve as a premier destination for large-scale conventions, corporate meetings, and social events. As we continue to grow our pre-opening team, we are seeking a Seamstress to join our amazing team!

Shift: person must be able to work a flexible schedule along with weekends and Holidays.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Alter and repair garments: Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments to team member uniforms, hotel linens, and guest clothing to ensure proper fit and quality
• Keep sewing equipment running smoothly: Keep sewing machines in good working condition and promptly report any defects to the Linen Room Supervisor
• Maintain an organized workspace: Keep the uniform and linen room clean, orderly, and well-stocked
• Monitor item conditions: Identify and report uniforms or linens that need to be discarded or replaced
