ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT (IN-ENRL-IUINA)
Optimizing our enrollment mix is crucial to the long-term viability of IU Indianapolis. There are several factors that influence a student's college choice, persistence, graduation and success. The Division of Enrollment Management is comprised of over 100 full-time staff in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships, Office of the Registrar, Office for Veterans and Military personnel, as well as other areas supporting student enrollment. The Division also oversees and provides insight for its enrollment operations for the Fort Wayne and Columbus campuses.

Department Specific Responsibilities:
- Manages the Seamless Admissions Process.
- Evaluates the current Seamless Admission process and work with the operations team to troubleshoot issues and rework the process.
- Works closely with high schools as they onboard to Seamless Admission. Ensure that MOUs are signed, facilitate data sharing agreements and establish relationships with contacts in school counseling and IT.
- Creates a timeline for Seamless for both schools onboarding Seamless Admission and for student decisions.
- Monitors the receipt of data and ensure that files from the schools are received on time and in the appropriate format.
- Together with campus leadership develop data informed Seamless Admission targets and benchmarks to track progress toward goals.
- Oversees Seamless programming.
- Works with the campus visit team to facilitate on campus programming for students participating in the seamless program.
- Coordinates with the traveling admissions counselors to ensure that IU Indianapolis is visible in the schools and providing unique opportunities for Seamless Students in their schools
- Collaborates with campus stakeholders to continue to expand and streamline additional enrollment components: Housing, Orientation, Registration, and Community engagement.
- Collects and monitors data for Seamless students.
- Creates data-driven reports in the Slate CRM to track the progress of Seamless Students as they move through the funnel.
- Individual analyzes business processes and data integrity and develops proposed solutions.
- Shares data with both internal and external stakeholders regarding the seamless program and it's outcomes.
- Serves as the campus expert on Seamless Admission and maintain the relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
- Maintains, implements and oversees a holistic recruitment yield tactical plan for recruitment.
- Develops, implements, and administers plans, programs, and events for general and targeted student recruitment in support of organizational goals.
- Integrates a diverse and strategic communications strategy in collaboration with other departments, geared toward specific student declared academic major, career interests, and geographic factors.
- Identifies and develops partnerships for outreach to prospective students and influencers.
- Interprets academic policies and exercises authority and independent judgment.
- Plans, implements, and evaluates programs and processes and determines the effectiveness of markets and strategies. Exercises independent judgment and uses census data and modeling tools to identify effective marketing plans and strategies to address specific populations.
- Serves in a collaborative role with internal and external stakeholders to identify targets of opportunity to attract and enroll under-represented populations. Participates in the assessment and evaluation of various models.
- May attend meetings or serve on committees with the admissions stakeholders, including all staff meetings, recruitment, and outreach team meetings, customer service lead meetings, and undergraduate recruitment council meetings; may provide guidance to other admissions counselors, particularly regarding recruitment schedules and objectives for recruitment staff in a given region.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
