Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef in ensuring all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Train and communicate standards of quality and presentation to kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely food production and educate servers on menu details.
- Support the kitchen in meeting financial, quality, and service goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and supervise daily kitchen sanitation.
- Participate in staffing and training efforts, filling open positions as needed.
- Lead by example in food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in food & beverage operations with leadership experience.
- Food Serve Safe certification.
- Knowledge of California sanitation regulations.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
- Strong supervisory, coaching, and staff development skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
