Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sous Chef in ensuring all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Train and communicate standards of quality and presentation to kitchen staff.
  • Ensure timely food production and educate servers on menu details.
  • Support the kitchen in meeting financial, quality, and service goals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and supervise daily kitchen sanitation.
  • Participate in staffing and training efforts, filling open positions as needed.
  • Lead by example in food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years in food & beverage operations with leadership experience.
  • Food Serve Safe certification.
  • Knowledge of California sanitation regulations.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong supervisory, coaching, and staff development skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
