Job summary

JETRO Restaurant Depot in Bohemia, NY is seeking a Stocker - Seafood to provide prompt customer service, stock seafood products, and maintain clean and safe warehouse areas. The role includes shelving items, validating prices, and supporting inventory rotation to prevent shrinkage.

Ideal candidates will work 8- to 10-hour shifts on an hourly basis, with union benefits and opportunities to grow within a large wholesale distribution network.

Qualifications

• Customer service basics and teamwork.
• Ability to stocking and shelf-fronting.
• Adherence to HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and stocks shelves.
• Organizes items and fronts them on display.
• Performs HACCP inspections and maintains safety.
• Assists in inventory checks to rotate stock and prevent shrinkage.
• Ensures shelf pricing is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and safety, including spill response.
• Coordinates with Hi-Lo operators to keep floor stocked and safe.
• Alerts supervisors to low/out-of-stock items.
