Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Stocker - Seafood to support the Seafood department by stocking shelves, maintaining clean work areas, and delivering prompt customer service. The role involves heavy lifting, operating in a cold warehouse environment, and coordinating with Hi-Lo for floor stock and safety.

Responsibilities include ensuring correct pricing, inventory rotation, and adherence to HACCP guidelines, with shifts spanning 8–10 hours. Union status may apply as noted in the job details.

Qualifications

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves
• Performs inspections to meet HACCP regulations
• Assists in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages
• Ensures shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness with regular maintenance and cleaning underneath pallets
• Monitors department floors for safety hazards; handles spills and trash promptly and safely
• Works with Hi-Lo operators to keep selling floor stocked and safe by returning overstock pallets
• Notifies supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock merchandise
