Job summary

ShopRite of Vails Gate in New York is seeking a Seafood Clerk to deliver great customer experience while maintaining and operating the Seafood Department; to prepare and pack fresh and frozen seafood according to Company and department standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking, ensuring product quality, following safety guidelines, and working with others to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed seafood products.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare and pack fresh and frozen seafood per standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow QA and safety rules.
