Job summary

ShopRite of Absecon is seeking a Seafood Clerk to deliver excellent customer service in the Seafood Department. You will prepare, pack and restock seafood, maintain product quality, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines while working with various seafood products.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to work with fresh, frozen and processed seafood products.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow procedures.
• Commitment to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers with prompt, courteous service in the Seafood Department.
• Prepare, pack and restock seafood according to standards.
• Differentiate types of seafood and maintain product quality.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas.
• Follow QA and sanitation requirements and handle chemicals properly.
• Lift, move and merchandise products up to 50 lbs as needed.
