Job summary

Whole Foods Market in New York, NY is seeking a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation within the department. You will ensure a positive store image by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members alike.

Key duties include maintaining fresh displays, accurate signage and pricing, back stock management, and keeping the environment clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, stocking, rotating, and removing out-of-date products.
• Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Keeps a safe, clean, and well-organized working and shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas full and tidy.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains.
• Skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish; boxes, labels, and dates cooked fish.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Provides excellent customer service, answers phones, and uses suggestive selling techniques.
