Job summary

J.J. McDonnell, a Maryland seafood distributor, is seeking a driver to deliver products to customers on assigned routes in Elkridge. You will provide high levels of customer service, follow company procedures, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

The role requires a valid Maryland driver's license with clean record, 3–5 years of delivery experience, and the ability to pass a DOT certification. Strong communication, safety mindset, and bilingual ability are valued.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of delivery experience.
• Valid Maryland drivers license.
• Able to obtain and maintain a DOT certification.
• Must be polite with good problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Ability to read and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Able to use navigation tools for routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on assigned route and provide high service.
• Follow safety policies and maintain food safety standards.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and manage vehicle with ELD.
• Ensure proper handling of products and accurate deliveries.
• Communicate returns, weight differences, price discrepancies to office.
