Job DescriptionJob Description

The QC Technician 1 assures the food safety and quality of all products produced by the plant, through compliance with Company standards and governmental food handling practices at our clients' Redmond, WA, seafood production facility.

SCHEDULE:

Day shift: Monday-Friday 5:00am -1:30pm

PAY: $23.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs on-line quality and sanitary checks performed for operations conducted at the assigned production facility, using HACCP compliance and measurement.

• Evaluates finished product quality (grading, physical and/or chemical analyses of finished product).

• Accurately reports and records test results to include daily report distribution and/or data input into Q.C. computer base.

• Initiates corrective actions to deviations noted during processing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Working knowledge of algebra and the ability to perform math calculations.

• 3-6 months seafood or industrial food production, or QC experience .

• Experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment also considered.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Demonstrates good interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
