Job summary

North Pacific Seafoods, Inc. seeks dedicated processors for a 24-hour red salmon cannery operation in Alaska. You will gut, clean, fillet, pack and ice seafood, operate processing machinery, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Roles require standing long hours in cold, noisy environments with possible heavy lifting.

Overtime is common; housing and meals are provided, along with transport from the nearest airport and health coverage options. Growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to perform physical, standing work up to 16 hours daily and seven days a week.
• Able to work in cold, wet, loud plants with seafood odors.

Responsibilities

• Clean, fillet, grade and package seafood products.
• Remove shells, bones and unwanted parts from seafood.
• Inspect seafood for freshness, quality and specs.
• Operate and maintain processing equipment following procedures.
• Follow food safety regulations and keep work areas clean.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth production flow.
