Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a meat, seafood and poultry processing cleaner in Columbus, OH. You will clean, wash and sanitize processing areas and maintain a safe workspace to support high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms for washing, powering down equipment, breaking down gear for cleaning, removing waste, and handling detergents and sanitizers per MSDS. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep processing room for washing.
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible items from processing rooms.
• Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F.
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification.
