Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Washington state is hiring a Seafood Processor 1 to handle processing of seafood products from cleaning to packing. The role involves operating conveyors, sorting by grade, color and size, and ensuring clean, safe working conditions in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates are entry-level (no minimum qualifications required) with preferred 1 year in food manufacturing and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; no minimum qualifications.
• Preferred 1 year experience in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, scraps, and trims product.
• Opens and removes raw materials and places on belts.
• Segregates product by grade, color, and size and places in containers or on conveyors.
• Discards cull and foreign matter.
• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.
• Operates machine(s) to move seafood.
• Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.
• Follows Environmental and Safety Policies and training requirements.
• Notifies designated personnel of any safety incidents or risks.
• Performs other similar or related duties as requested.
