Job summary

Max Fish, located in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook with open availability to join our culinary team. If you're passionate about seafood and thrive in a high-energy, refined kitchen environment, we want to meet you!

Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications, focusing on seafood and raw bar offerings, while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook (2–3 years strongly preferred)
• Experience in upscale-casual or fine-dining kitchens, seafood a PLUS
• Ability to work in a high-volume, scratch kitchen and across multiple stations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications with focus on seafood and raw bar offerings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Follow recipes, plating standards, and prep instructions for consistency and quality
• Assist with daily prep tasks: cleaning, chopping, organizing ingredients
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen atmosphere
