Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking an on-site Seafood Associate at our York location. You will keep the seafood area well stocked, greet customers, suggest ideas, and help with special orders while upholding quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up displays, rotating stock, weighing and wrapping merchandise, maintaining freshness logs, and following health and OSHA guidelines. Training is provided for receiving and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Education completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps seafood area well stocked and appealing for customers.
• Displays and price signage; rotates product and handles expiring items per policy.
• Weighs, wraps, and labels merchandise; maintains freshness logs.
• Ensures sanitation and safety standards in the department.
• Assists with inventory control and reporting shortages or overages.
• May help with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries with training.
• Supports cross-department cooperation and PPE usage.
