Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day seafood department operations including merchandising, preparation, displays and inventory.
• Assist with ordering seafood merchandise and supplies and maintain ordering in absence of the seafood manager.
• Maintain seafood ice display to meet corporate standards.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation procedures and regulations.
• Assist with training and scheduling of new associates in the seafood dept.
• Read daily emails from Seafood Merchandising and implement directions.
• Perform suggestive selling, sampling and PA announcements.
