Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring a Seafood Clerk in Boise, ID to prepare and display seafood, assist customers, and uphold sanitation and quality standards. You will follow company policies and safety procedures while delivering friendly service.

You’ll work with team members, monitor temperatures, stock displays, operate the register, and help maintain clean, well-organized aisles. Prior grocery or food-service experience is helpful; we value initiative, dependability and a commitment

• Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate all production equipment.

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
• Experience in grocery retail, customer service, and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully and provide them with good quality foods.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate with customers and associates.
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods in accordance with company standards, recipes, and policies – in compliance with Food Safety Policies and Procedures and Health Department regulations.
• Perform required temperature monitoring.
• Monitor product quality; make sure it is always fresh and safe.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well organized.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
