Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department at one of our Miami-area stores. You will help provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members and follow SOPs across the department.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, signage, stocking, sample areas, and sanitation standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers and Team Members.
• Understanding of WFM quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Maintains accurate department signage and pricing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Maintains a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps areas full and appealing.
• Cleans cases, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Skins, bones, and cooks or smokes fish and labels cooked fish.
