Job summary

Fiesta Mart is recruiting a Seafood Clerk for Store 008 Houston-Wirt Road to join our fast-paced team. You will assist customers, stock and clean the seafood displays, and help ensure fresh, attractive product presentation.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read and follow instructions, and communicate in Spanish and English. Prior retail experience is helpful; on-site training is provided. This is an on-site role with growth opportunities within Fiesta Mart.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Follow detailed oral or written instructions with common sense.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service under supervision.
• Assist customers, set up, maintain and clean the seafood display cases.
• Clean, fill and rotate the seafood displays.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for extended periods.
