Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper is seeking a Seafood Clerk (Part-Time) with open availability for the Grain Valley, MO store. The role involves receiving, cutting and serving seafood products to customers in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will report to the Seafood Manager in a non-exempt position, with responsibilities including maintaining product quality, stock, pricing, and customer service standards in a busy department.

Qualifications

• Food handling permit required within first 14 days of employment.
• Completion of ongoing training per Cosentino Learning Plan.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare seafood for display.
• Rotate products by expiration dates.
• Identify damaged or unsellable items and process accordingly.
• Count and record merchandise for inventory.
• Label and price items and update shelf tags.
• Assist customers at the counter with weighing, wrapping and pricing.
