Job summary

El Super in Las Vegas is seeking a Seafood Clerk for Store #20 to deliver friendly, courteous service and maintain seafood displays. You will assist customers, set up and rotate displays, and help keep the seafood area clean and organized.

The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds, basic reading/writing, and a Food Handler Card. This fast-paced grocery environment offers equal opportunity and opportunities to grow with Chedraui USA.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service under direct supervision.
• Assist customers and set up, maintain and clean the seafood display cases.
• Clean, fill and rotate the seafood displays to ensure freshness and presentation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., stand and stoop for prolonged periods as required by a fast-paced grocery store environment.
