Job summary

El Super is seeking a Seafood Clerk at the Pico Rivera #54 location to provide friendly customer service and maintain seafood displays. You will assist customers, set up and rotate displays, and help ensure product quality while following safety requirements.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced grocery environment. Training and opportunities for advancement are available within Chedraui USA.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous customer service and maintains the seafood display cases.
• Cleans, fills and rotates seafood displays; assists customers and ensures fresh, well presented products.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods during shifts.
