Job summary

El Super #12 in Arleta, CA is hiring a Fish Clerk to support the seafood department and assist customers with a friendly, efficient service experience. The role involves setting up and maintaining seafood displays, and lifting up to 50–60 pounds as needed.

Under supervision, you will ensure accurate pricing, keep displays stocked, and help customers select products while complying with safety and food-handling standards.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence and notes for customers.
• Explain information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Follow simple written or oral instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service at the seafood display.
