Job summary

Fiesta Mart, part of the Chedraui USA family, is seeking a Seafood Clerk for Store 054 in Garland, TX. You will assist customers, stock and refresh the seafood displays, and maintain a clean, organized case in a fast-paced grocery setting.Requirements include fluent English and Spanish, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read basic instructions, and basic PC/Outlook skills. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is preferred. EEO employer.

What You’ll Bring

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists the customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases. Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
