Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston, TX is seeking a Seafood Clerk to assist customers, stock seafood displays, and maintain product freshness in a fast-paced grocery setting.

You will help with cleaning, lifting heavy boxes, and following food safety guidelines while delivering friendly service to a diverse community.

Qualifications

Opportunity (Responsibilities)

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. The role involves assisting customers, setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the seafood display cases. Responsibilities include cleaning, filling, and rotating seafood displays, lifting up to 50 lbs., and bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store and includes physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
