Seafood Bar Cashier

General Position Summary:

Provides service to guests (i.e.: taking orders for F&B venues, making change, and answering questions concerning casino food and entertainment).

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Busses tables and maintain cleanliness in the food venues
  • Assist staff as needed with guest service
  • Performs cash handling tasks consistent with the F&B cash handling procedures
  • Assist staff as needed with guest service
  • Performs opening and closing procedures as outlined
  • Other duties deemed necessary

Secondary Functions:

  • Busses tables and maintain cleanliness in the food venues
  • Assist staff as needed with guest service
  • Performs cash handling tasks consistent with the F&B cash handling procedures
  • Assist staff as needed with guest service
  • Performs opening and closing procedures as outlined
  • Other duties deemed necessary

  • Experienced in providing Cleary Superior Customer Service
  • Able to handle disputes and problem solve conflicts and recognizes when to involve management

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or hold a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have (or obtain within 30 days of employment) Food Handlers Card
  • One (1) Year of cashier or customer service related experience preferred.

Job Conditions:

Working conditions include working in all areas of the F&B venues during busy times of the day and night, smoky, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 25 lb. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computers and routine paperwork.
