Our client is seeking two experienced Seafood Associates to join their team in a retail seafood environment.

This role requires hands‑on fish butchering experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in a retail seafood counter setting. Candidates with seafood warehouse experience involving fish processing and handling may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, fillet, and portion a variety of fish and seafood products
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and product quality
• Assist customers at the seafood counter when needed
• Properly handle, store, and rotate seafood inventory (FIFO method)
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
• Support daily setup and breakdown of seafood department operations

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a seafood associate or fishmonger
• Hands‑on fish butchering and filleting experience is required
• Retail seafood counter experience strongly preferred
• Seafood warehouse or processing experience may be considered
