Job summary

SpartanNash in Caledonia, MI is seeking a Meat Department Associate to prepare, package and merchandise meat products while maintaining safety and guest experience standards.

You will follow production plans, label products, assist in backroom stocking and coordinate with the Meat Manager to ensure product quality and freshness in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• This role prepares and produces meat products for the production planner.
• Packages and labels meat products per program plan.
• Merchandises meat products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stocks backroom with meat products, rotating and dating cases/buckets.
• Notifies Meat Manager for orders and supplies as needed.
• Works as a team with other departments to achieve store growth.
