State of Missouri is seeking a Nutrition Specialist for the Missouri WIC program to support nutrition education and breastfeeding services for 116 local agencies statewide, serving over 90,000 participants each month.
You will monitor agency compliance, review CAPs, approve equipment purchases and budgets, and use MIS data to assess program effectiveness in collaboration with staff and partners.
Job Location: This position will be located Statewide.
As a Nutrition Specialist for the Missouri WIC program, you will be directly involved in providing nutrition and breastfeeding support to 116 WIC local agencies in the state and more specifically, to 28 local agencies in southeast Missouri. You will play an integral part in serving over 90,000 Missouri WIC participants each month, providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, a supplemental food package, and health care referrals for women, infants and children. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
