NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a SD-WAN Network Engineer to work remotely with our global client in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Join an exciting project in supporting our client’s IT Network and Telecommunication team, focusing in SDWAN.
• Manage and maintain the client’s network infrastructure.
• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams across various regions (Spain, U.S., and Mexico).
• Work extensively with the following technologies: SDWAN, network security tools, such as firewalls and proxies, routing protocols, including EIGRP and BGP, switching technologies, SNMP for network management, Dynamic VPN solutions, and MPLS systems.
• Oversee and document network systems, including creating Visio diagrams, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of ongoing activities through weekly status reports, incident reports, logs, and other relevant documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in network engineering, particularly in SDWAN implementation and troubleshooting.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Demonstrated expertise with the following technologies: SDWAN, network security tools such as firewalls and proxies, routing protocols, including EIGRP and BGP, switching technologies, SNMP for network management, MPLS systems, and dynamic VPN solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet devices and Cisco IOS/NXOS technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Fortinet and Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-Have:

• CCNA certification or higher
