Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Program Excellence Senior Manager 3 to lead and mature program execution across the Sentinel program. Based in Roy, UT, you will drive rigorous processes, oversee performance data, and mentor program managers.

A DoD clearance and travel up to 25% are required. Candidates should have a strong background in program management, EVMS, and stakeholder coordination, with a track record of briefing executives and enabling sustained growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree with 8 years PM experience or a Master’s with 6 years experience
  • Experience in program execution, earned value management, change management, risk management, and stakeholder management
  • Experience managing projects across customers and program life cycle phases
  • Experience briefing executives and managing expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% per month
  • Must have active DoD security clearance and ability to obtain SAP
  • U.S. citizenship required

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.You Will Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor’s or higher degree with 8 years of program management experience or Masters degree and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degreeExperience in program execution, earned value management, change management, risk management, and stakeholder managementExperience managing projects / programs across with different customers across multiple phases of the program life cycleExperience briefing executives and managing expectationsability to travel up to 25% per month.Must have an active a U.S. Government DoD security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP)These Qualifications Are Nice To Have:Experience as a program manager or IPT lead in a development programStrong execution track record as a PMExperience managing peopleExperience in start up or recovery situations that required review and enhancement of metrics, processes, ops tempo, and decision making tools/productsActive U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needPrimary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
