Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services in East Chicago, IN, seeks an SDS Production Manager for the 2nd shift to oversee the thermal desorption unit, distillation column, and pot still, while leading SDS personnel and ensuring EHS compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, operations monitoring, and collaboration with Maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. Requires HazWoper readiness, MS Office skills, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2-year technical degree desirable.
• Hazardous waste experience (2-4 years) desired.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Foster, uphold, and prioritize a strong EHS culture across the team.
• Manage day-to-day activities of SDS personnel.
• Develop and maintain SDS department schedule across shifts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot operations related to the thermal desorption unit, distillation column, and pot still.
• Navigate computer systems related to these operations and inventory.
• Monitor inbound/outbound loads and coordinate with Maintenance for equipment reliability.
• Comply with RCRA and DOT regulations; manage roll-off and drum inventory per permit.
• Complete daily logs and provide end-of-month production reports.
