Job summary

Lumin Digital is seeking a Software Engineer (SDK) to address a broad range of software development needs, including SDK & API support for external developers and client project scoping. The role involves collaboration with product management, implementations, customer support, and sales, while mentoring and contributing to a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate brings traditional development experience, strong client-facing skills, and expertise in the FinTech ecosystem, including Docker

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of engineering/architecture experience, with some client-facing work.
• Experience with SaaS platforms featuring SDKs and deep API integrations.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new SDK users via virtual or on-site training sessions.
• Provide external SDK support, including problem determination and code reviews for quality and stability.
• Estimate development projects after understanding the tech stack; draft statements of work to prevent scope creep.
• Adapt product development across backend and frontend for hundreds of integrations and features.
• Provide solution consulting to address gaps in user workflows or back-office operations.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with product management, implementations, customer support, and sales.
• Support production operations and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead team efforts using Atlassian tools and drive change for growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
