Job summary

Intone Networks Inc is seeking an SDET with AI skills (SME/Architect) for an onsite role in Atlanta, GA. You will own the end-to-end test strategy across web, desktop, API, and Salesforce products, guiding best practices and building scalable automation frameworks using Java, Python, and modern UI/API tools.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress, and experience with AI-assisted test design and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software testing and test automation, including 3+ years as a test architect, SME, or technical lead owning quality strategy across multiple products.
• Expert-level programming in Java and Python, with JavaScript/TypeScript, to build automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Proven record of defining and implementing test strategy across web, desktop, API applications.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end test strategy and roadmap across web, desktop, API, and Salesforce products, acting as the lead for all testing.
• Assess current testing practices, tools, and processes; deliver prioritized recommendations to improve quality and release speed.
• Architect and build scalable automation frameworks in Java and Python covering UI, API, desktop, and integration layers.
• Apply AI-assisted tools and LLM copilots to generate test cases and data, triage failures, and reduce maintenance.
• Establish CI/CD quality gates, metrics, and reporting for visibility into release readiness.
• Plan and run functional, regression, performance, and security testing, shifting testing left through code/review.
• Set automation standards, document architecture, and coach developers and testers on quality practices.

• Assess current testing practices, tools, and processes, then deliver prioritized recommendations to improve product quality and release speed and drive their implementation.
• Architect and build scalable automation frameworks in Java and Python covering UI, API, desktop, and integration layers.
• Apply AI-assisted tools and LLM copilots to generate test cases and data, triage failures, and reduce test maintenance.
• Establish CI/CD quality gates, metrics, and reporting that give leadership clear visibility into release readiness.
• Plan and run functional, regression, performance, and security-oriented testing, and shift testing left through code and requirements reviews.
• Set automation standards, document architecture, and coach developers and testers on quality practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years in software testing and test automation, including 3+ years as a test architect, SME, or technical lead owning quality strategy across multiple products.
• Expert-level programming in Java and Python, with JavaScript/TypeScript, to build automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Proven record of defining and implementing test strategy across web, desktop, API applications.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver,
  Playwrigh
  t, or Cypress, a desktop automation tool (Appium or WinAppDriver), REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured), and SQL.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions) and applied experience using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or LLM assistants for test design, scripting, and defect analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Exposure to prompt engineering for test generation, or AI-based test platforms (self-healing locators, visual testing).
• Experience testing e-commerce, ERP, or order-management applications.
