Job summary

DBA Web Technologies in San Diego, CA is seeking a Sr SDET to develop and automate tests for web applications. The candidate will work in a high-velocity environment, building and maintaining test frameworks with C#, Python, Selenium, and related tools.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development and hands-on experience with SQL Server and .NET stack, including Visual Studio and IIS, leveraging Azure/DevOps in a test automation context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in computer science or an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of recent software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C#, Python preferred)
• Understands databases (SQL Server is preferred) and is able to develop intermediate - complex level queries.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, automation testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Agile Environment experience using user stories, providing test estimates etc.

• Strong coding and debugging skills in C#, Selenium, Python and related Test Automation frameworks.
• Ability and experience in Designing new and Enhancing existing Test Automation frameworks and code.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Technical Stack (Visual Studio, Azure, DevOps, C#, SQL Server, .NET, Nuget, IIS) and test frameworks.
• Ability to understand end user/product usage scenarios in designing and conducting Automation testing or development.
• Develop Test Automation code for functional, integration and E2E testing to validate business, system and operational requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge with testing applications involving Machine Learning and related areas is a plus.
