Oowlish is seeking an experienced SDET to design, implement, and run automated regression testing for a complex observability platform. You will validate APIs, data pipelines, and telemetry across enterprise environments, focusing on scalable automation rather than UI testing.

The role requires strong API testing, scripting, and cloud/IaC exposure (AWS, Terraform, OpenTelemetry). You will work in a remote, sprint-driven setting with international client exposure.

Competenze

• Minimum 4+ years in SDET or test automation roles.
• Experience with API testing and automation.
• Strong scripting skills for automation and pipeline validation.
• Experience with load/performance testing.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments.
• Experience testing backend, infrastructure-heavy, data pipelines or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain automated regression test suites.
• Develop tests for log and metric ingestion pipelines.
• Validate search, queries, and latency across systems.
• Test distributed tracing, telemetry flows, and alerting.
• Validate IaC deployments, reproducibility, and zero-manual steps.
• Execute load and scalability tests against targets.
• Triage defects and provide regression evidence during sprints.
• Collaborate with Test Architect and engineering teams to improve coverage.
• Maintain reproducible automation code and testing docs.
