Job description

We are seeking a senior-level SDET Lead to drive test automation initiatives across multiple teams, focusing on mobile app testing (React Native) and headless CMS platforms such as Payload or Contentful.

This role will act as a quality champion, enabling teams through coaching, building shared automation tools, and coordinating end-to-end testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Coaching

• Help teams write better acceptance criteria.
• Build tools to simplify automation for development teams.

End-to-End Testing

• Create test plans for features spanning multiple teams.
• Write automated tests for mobile apps and CMS workflows.
• Perform exploratory testing and validate user experience.
• Approve releases for production.

Automation Framework Ownership

• Improve shared test libraries and tools.
• Set up dynamic test data, API mocks, and CMS validation.
• Ensure automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years in software development and 5+ years in test automation.
• Strong React Native development and testing experience.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Payload or Contentful.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Playwright, Detox, and Maestro.
• Programming experience in TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Java, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting automation solutions across multiple teams.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to fast-changing technology environments.
