Job summary

TechDigital Group in the United States (McLean, VA) is seeking a senior QA automation engineer to lead test automation initiatives across UI, API, and microservices. You will design scalable automation frameworks, drive CI/CD integrations with Jenkins and Maven/Gradle, and mentor teams in BDD with Cucumber.

The role requires strong Java/JavaScript skills, hands-on Playwright and Selenium experience, and cloud-testing knowledge with AWS services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Test Automation, Software Development, or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, PACT.IO, and Cucumber BDD.
• Strong knowledge of UI, API, Web Services, and Microservices Testing.
• Experience with React, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Expertise in creating scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD integration using Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Strong experience with JSON/XML validation, API automation, and database testing (MongoDB/DB2).
• Ability to convert user stories into Gherkin scenarios and automated BDD test cases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud-based application testing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
