Job summary

Delos Data seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the reliability and performance of our AI infrastructure. You will design and build scalable automation frameworks and stress-testing suites to validate distributed systems, GPUs, and AI frameworks at scale.

You will own end-to-end testing, push for high-quality primitives, and collaborate with System Engineers to diagnose bottlenecks using telemetry and profiling tools across a hybrid work model in Charlottesville, VA or

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for automation and orchestration.
• Experience building or extending test automation frameworks for complex backend systems.
• Troubleshooting automated test failures in large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust automated testing framework for distributed AI workloads.
• Develop end-to-end test plans including stress testing and hardware-software boundary conditions.
• Collaborate with System Engineers to debug deep-seated issues using telemetry and profiling tools.
