Job summary

Shuru Technologies Private Limited in the United States is seeking a strong SDET Engineer with hands-on API automation, web or mobile automation, and performance testing. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Rest Assured with Java and Playwright with TypeScript, and contribute to test strategies across backend systems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured and Java - mandatory.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript -mandatory.
• Experience in either web automation or mobile automation- mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with K6 for performance testing- mandatory.
• Good understanding of API testing, HTTP protocols, authentication, databases, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable API automation frameworks using Rest Assured with Java/Playwright.
• Build and maintain automation using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Perform automation testing for web or mobile applications.
• Create comprehensive functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Perform performance and load testing using K6 and collaborate with engineering to address bottlenecks.
• Validate APIs, backend services, databases, integrations, and distributed workflows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage.
• Manage test cases and execution using Kase and track defects/tasks in Jira.
• Participate in design and requirement discussions to identify quality risks early.
• Debug failures and perform root-cause analysis with developers and product teams.
• Write clean, maintainable production-quality automation code.
