Job summary

Kforce is seeking an SDET in Covington, KY to design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java and modern automation tools. The role emphasizes owning the quality of solution delivery, following test-driven and automation-driven software development practices within an Agile/DevOps environment.

The candidate should have 3+ years of test automation experience, strong scripting skills (SQL/HTML/JavaScript/Java/Python), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field.
• 3+ years of test automation development using Java or similar language.
• Proven experience with automated tests (functional, integration and performance).
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright and Jenkins.
• Experience in Agile projects.
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git, ClearCase, etc.).
• Ability to navigate rapidly changing landscapes and stay current with trends.
• Proven technical skills (SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python); Cloud AWS/Azure preferred.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile Sprint/Kanban environment.
• Experience with customer-facing products preferred.
