Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a Software Developer in Test to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and backend applications. Based in the Philippines, this onsite/hybrid/remote role collaborates with development and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, execute functional and performance testing, and track defects to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and backend applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
