Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract Software Engineer for a fully onsite role in Seattle, WA. You will contribute to backend applications, APIs and automation, leveraging Python and other OO languages while collaborating with teams to deliver robust systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Linux, and AI coding assistants, plus solid testing and data-driven validation know-how.

Job description

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with machine learning, AI, or model evaluation workflows.

• Familiarity with concepts such as model validation, benchmarking, hallucination detection, LLM evaluation, or automated quality measurement.

• Experience building data pipelines, processing large datasets, or supporting data-driven applications.

• Exposure to virtual assistants, conversational AI, agent-based systems, or generative AI technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience debugging systems across multiple components and services.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
