Job summary

Boston Scientific Corporation seeks a Software Development Engineer Intern in Waltham, MA. You will join an Agile team to design, develop and test software components in C++ on Linux, contributing to UI, algorithms and back-end data handling while learning through hands-on mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in CS or BME/EE with expected graduation fall/winter 2027 or spring 2028.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and unit test software applications using C++ in a Linux environment.
• Participate in Agile scrum teams to coordinate development of new features and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to user interface, algorithm development, and back-end data handling components.
