Job summary

Yardi Systems is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to enhance and maintain existing applications. You will debug defects, implement improvements, and document solutions while collaborating with internal teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

You’ll bring 2+ years of experience with VB.NET/C#/Angular/Java/Go/React, strong database knowledge, and a detail-oriented mindset to turn complex issues into clean code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Engineering Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two plus (2+) years of experience using VB.NET, C#, Angular, Java, Go, React, or equivalent programming tools in an application development environment.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres).
• Good attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
• Independent problem-solving and analysis skills.
• Clear, effective oral and written communication skills.
• Solid time management and organization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collegial, team-oriented disposition with the desire and ability to establish cooperative working relationships with all levels of employees and clients.
• Experience profiling, optimizing, and debugging Golang applications.
• Experience implementing secure, scalable RESTful APIs or gRPC services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement small to medium software enhancements in existing applications
• Identify, debug, and resolve defects while ensuring solutions meet established standards
• Document defect analysis, resolutions, and code changes clearly and accurately
• Present implementation details and technical solutions to internal teams
