Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience developing and maintaining production software.
• Experience owning meaningful features or software projects.
• Experience across multiple components of a modern application stack.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and engineering best practices.
• Experience designing or contributing to production APIs and database-backed applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production software across Riverhead's proprietary technology platform.
• Own significant features and engineering projects from initial requirements through production.
• Design scalable frontend, backend, database, and API architectures.
• Translate complex requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
• Build and improve systems supporting commercial financing workflows.
